Star Trek Into Darkness is now available on iTunes ($14.99 SD/19.99 HD) and you can, of course, watch it on your Apple TV. The movie hits iTunes three weeks before the DVD release (September 10th), and, as noticed by 9to5Mac, it’s “the first major movie available on digital mediums like iTunes prior to DVD sales”.

Apple seeded the third beta of the Apple TV 5.4, a couple of days back with a few minor bug fixes. Internet connection issues, iTunes Radio bugs, problems while switching between multiple accounts, playback issues and a huge number of AirPlay music bugs have been resolved

A little earlier, in June, Netflix had announced that they will be introducing a new ‘Profile’ features on its Apple TV app. Though it was available for some users as a beta, the final public release was stated to be by the end of August.
