Congratulations movie Fans! You’ve made it through the Season of Giving and the barrage of family cluster bombs relatively unscathed and just in time to prepare yourself for the real liver damage yet to come. It’s the tail end of 2013 with ravenous New Year’s debauchery coming up fast so take one last deep breath and recharge your worn out holiday batteries with some weekend Apple fun. And don’t be afraid to overindulge on these goodies!
Of course by now you’re probably already trapped in the grinding gears of the final Holiday Madness weekend so, more than ever before in 2013, it’s the right time to slam it into neutral, pour some vino, light a fire and snuggle up with that special someone in front of the warm glow of your Apple TV. And here’s some cinematic stocking stuffers full of good cheer to soothe your weary holiday spirit and put some sizzle in that snuggle.
Apple is adding more and more content to the Apple TV: starting today, Apple TV users in the UK can access NOW TV’s Sky Sports. For £9.99, the Sky Sports Day Pass gives users instant access on their TV to all six Sky Sports channels. The pass activates immediately upon purchase and is billed directly to the iTunes account.
Our yuletide alert tells us that the Festival of Lights is already in progress and, upon review, it looks like just two short weeks to go until Santy Claus shimmies his way under your tree. This, of course, means we’re still on Holiday Watch around here but don’t worry because we’ve included some non-Xmas treats for your TV stockings as well. Don’t open them all at once…
Apple has yet again added new content to already quite long list of channels available on the Apple TV. Among the newcomers is Bloomberg, Sony’s Crackle service, Watch ABC and Korean channel KORTV.
