The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple it testing several TV-set designs. According to WSJ, “officials at some of Apple’s suppliers” said the company has been working on testing a few designs for a “large-screen high-resolution TV”:

Apple TV Bluetooth

It is a well known fact that Apple integrated some form of Bluetooth in its Apple TV 2 and its Apple TV 3. For those of you who have jailbroken your Apple TV, you may have already played around with this functionality using some of the tools in nitoTV or other Apple TV hacks. Well, it is now Apples turn. As of the latest beta builds, being released for these little black boxes, 9to5Mac revealed that there have been reports of Bluetooth functionality being enabled, by Apple! So, what could this mean? What is Apples plan? Is this a “game” changer? Needless to say, officially enabling Bluetooth is a fairly BIG DEAL either way.

Apple TV set HDTV concept

Rumors have been swirling for nigh on a year now about what would come to pass when Apple finally delivers its television. Not that the Apple TV is any slouch mind you, but visions of a fully integrated Apple HDTV have had experts and fanboys alike drooling. Mac version of AirParrot, a fantastic little app that enables your Macs or Windows machines to AirPlay its screen to Apple TV, has been recently updated to version 1.5 that brings lots of performance enhancements, few bug fixes and improved compatibility with Apple TV’s latest firmware.
