Did somebody not just ask me if Jaman TV was available for Apple TV Take 2? Well, I guess, the answer is “yes”.
Jaman just informed me a few days back that the Jaman TV plugin is now available for Apple TV Take 2. I played around with it and am happy to report that it works flawlessly on my updated Apple TV.
As far as I know, there are no new features. Just the ability to work with the new Apple TV 2.0 software.
The Patchstick zip file is available for download here. You can refer to the original Jaman TV post (located here) for installation instructions and how to use the player.

Good news for you Windows folks. Now, you, too, can create Patchsticks for modding your Apple TV without the need of an Intel Mac.
The guys at ATV4Windows have finally figured what thought to be impossible only a few weeks back: a way to create Patchsticks under Windows. Not only that, they even have a video to prove it.
Congratulations, ATV4Windows team.

Version 0.2 of Couch Surfer brings you support for History and the ability to load “new window” links. Brandon has also made available custom webkit frameworks in a separate file.
Thanks, Brandon.
Let me know how it goes. Just got the files from Brandon. I haven’t even installed it yet.

After a little run in with the lawyers from Apple concerning the the name and the logo of “Safari HD”, Brandon has decided to change the name of his immensely popular browser plugin to “Couch Surfer” along with a new logo.
The files are listed below. Download away!

I’ve been putting this off for too long. The complaints have been mounting about how hard it is to find the information you need. And the absent of forums is also forcing our readers to communicate via comments instead.
So I am now in the process of reorganizing the content of the site to make it easier to find what you need. I will also be installing a bulletin board software so our readers can finally communicated more effectively. If I have time, I might even start a video podcast explaining all the different hacks available on the site.
The goal here is make things easier on you, the readers. Hacking the Apple TV should be fun and not something to lose sleep about.
Just be patient.

Even more love from Brandon.
He has just updated Safari HD with the ability to access http password protected sites. So for those of you that have already downloaded the previous version, try again.
The URLs are still the same:
Now go and get some sleep, Brandon. Don’t tire yourself out.
[Update] All links removed to comply with Apple’s lawyers requests.
