I actually kinda like it better than xbmc setup, but of course xbmc has ice films so best of both worlds.

I like this media player better than xbmc for a couple of reasons.
1. It keeps the look and feel of the apple tv menu.
2. xbmc was not stable. It would crash randomly and even made my apple tv unstable when playing rented movies from the itunes store. Waiting for xbmc to scape the data seemed to take an eternity… and if I started to play a video before it was done scraping the audio was very choppy.
3. Adding shares to media player was easy, and it even has support for AFP (which xbmc either doesn’t have or I could not make it work).
4. My Apple TV doesn’t have to reboot to use media player.

there is nothing wrong with a developer asking to get paid for what he does… there software is pretty cool it would be better if the browser had flash support.

i’ll never understand, why they’re doing this sh*t.
would be better to contribute to the XMBC community instead of making just another player which is ordinary.
on the other side, i really like their program of making the jailbreaking of an ATV1+2 easier and easier, while earning some money with it. good work people at firecore. go on….
