HI is anyone still using the remote HD? im looking for a torrent or free app… i have the remote pro but its not the same as Remote HD…. cant see paying 7.99 cause there is not a 50% off now.

Hello,

I want to stream music from my iPad or iPod to my music system (connected by atv2) and tv.

How can I do that. Currently on my home sharing option I have my MacBook details. I can stream music from my MacBook library, but cannot from my ipad’s.

Can anyone advice me on this.

XBMC not compatible,
When I enter XBMC, the picture on the IPAD(or IPhone4) still show the last one(ATV2 Main Menu)

Hello,
installation worked fine for me, but I have another issue:

Remote Access from my iPad to my ATV2 works fine, until ATV2 goes into sleep mode.
After waking up, I’m able to control my ATV2, but I won’t get any view of the ATV’s screen on my iPad.
When I reboot the ATV2, everything works fine again.

ATV2: FW4.2.1 with Greenp0ison
iPad: FW4.2.1 with Greenp0ison

I found the install for Remote HD from the menu under Maintenance –> Manage Extras so I didn’t need to run the command lines after all.

feature updates are possible but you’ll have to wait until the jailbreak for each new atv firmware is out (and this can take a while..) My suggestion – don’t update until the untethered jailbreak for this specific software version is released.
