It's likely to happen because both the iPhone and Apple TV are based on OS X. Also, with the next version of the SDK, larger screen sizes are being supported. Here my edits to the list above:

If this apple tv truly has all of the capabilities that we are hoping for AND it does not have a monthly charge, then $1000 is nothin' !!!
